A peer-to-peer ticket marketplace built around trust and verification in resale.
The problem
Buying from a stranger is a trust problem.
Reselling a ticket peer to peer means handing money to someone you have never met and hoping the ticket is real. The existing options are a marketplace that takes a large cut, or a direct message and a bank transfer with no protection if the ticket never shows up.
The decision
We built verification first, not the listing screen.
The obvious feature to build first is the part buyers see most: browsing and listing tickets. We built the transfer and verification flow first instead.
The product problem was never listing a ticket. It is proving the ticket is real and that a transfer actually happened.
So the design work is mostly about making that verification legible to a nervous buyer: a clear transfer flow, email verification on both sides of the handoff, and payment logic that ties the payout to a confirmed transfer rather than a listing going live. That is the strongest part of this case study. The interesting decisions live in the moment a buyer and seller are most anxious, not in the browsing screens.

Designed end to end in Figma, then built out as high-fidelity prototypes and working HTML/CSS mockups for user testing.
